Job Description:

Capgemini hiring fulltime/permanent resource for Planet press Role: PlanetPress is a comprehensive suite of software modules crafted to facilitate the creation, variable data printing, and distribution of transactional documents and business forms. It seamlessly integrates variable data and offers sophisticated workflow management capabilities. Documents produced using PlanetPress Suite can be printed in large volumes, archived, emailed, faxed, or handled within a sophisticated document management application.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in coding and scripting at an intermediate to sophisticated level.

  • Ability to interpret sophisticated logic and data streams.

  • Competence in generating and reading various barcode formats, including 2D IMB (Intelligent Mailing Barcode).

  • Knowledge of ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) interface and APIs/services.

  • Experience with Lorton's AIMS (Automated Insertion Management System) and web page design and interfacing.

  • Familiarity with certain Ricoh tools using a web interface.

  • Hands-on experience with Objective Lune Planet Press Connect (OL Connect) application Suite, including OL Connect Workflow and OL Connect Designer.

  • Intermediate to sophisticated proficiency in Microsoft SQL, including database operations such as reading, inserting, updating, and deleting data, as well as understanding table creation, joins, constraints, triggers, and indexes.

  • Experience including data interpretation, reporting, documentation creation (technical procedures, flowcharts, diagrams), and communication.
