Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

  • Lead DevOps Engineer is accountable for crafting, building, and optimizing automation systems that help to implement business web and data infrastructure platforms.

  • We have to stay ahead of industry trends and standard processes.

  • Conduct research, tests, and implement new techniques which could be reused and applied to the software development project.

Required Skills:

  • 8 to 10 years in the Application DevOps.

  • Experience for technically leading a team of AWS engineers, Handling production landscape on AWS having required skills of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Groovy, Cloudbees Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy.

  • Able to lead and can communicate effectively with client management verbally and in writing.

  • Hands on experience in installation upgrades and maintenance of DevOps tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube and Nexus etc.

  • Experience in containerized Deployment and clustering using Kubernetes in public cloud platforms preferably AWS Knowledge on SSL and certificates management in PROD environments.

  • Demonstrable experience in Design, build, maintains and secure AWS resources for high availability and production level systems and Setup Manage AWS Security Policies.

  • In depth knowledge of a wide range of AWS services e g VPC, Security Groups, Network, Routing, ACLs, ELB, Route 53, IAM EC2, ASGs, AMI, S3, EBS, RDS, RedShift, SNS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Cloud-Trail, Trusted Advisor, KMS, CloudFront and Elastic Beanstalk.

  • We have to stay up to date with existing and new cloud services to resolve systems requirements and functionalities needed in large sophisticated development project.

  • We must possess ample knowledge and experience in system automation, deployment, and implementation.
