Title : Google Cloud Data Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Iselin, NJ

Capgemini is seeking a Google Cloud Data Architect who will be responsible for a large-scale Cloud Migration program for financial services. The role is for a large-scale Cloud Migration program for a financial services client. The focus is on migrating data and analytical workloads from on-premise systems like SQL Server and SSIS to GCP platforms, including Big Query, IAM, GCS, Dataflow, Composer, Data Proc, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply deep Understanding of the Contact Center Domain

  • Supply to data architecture, design, and best practices for a framework that enables meta data-driven distributed data processing.

  • Lead the development of patterns, standards and best practices in the data engineering and solutions space.

  • Assess data implementation procedures to ensure they align with internal and external standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Contribute to the creation of blueprints and deployment patterns for the migration of data and services from legacy systems to new solutions.

  • Ensure data architectures, platforms, and solutions accurately documented and updated periodically.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the client organization for GCP end-to-end architecture and management.

Required Skills:

  • 15 years of IT experience of which last 5 years' experience using Python/ Java in Application Development, Database Design, Data processing, Data Warehouse.

  • Experience architecting data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, e.g., Big Data Projects, Data Migrations, BI, etc.

  • Experience in migrating at least one medium to large application/data from on-prem to GCP

  • Deep understanding of ETL development, data pipeline using Python, Airflow, tools SQL Server/SSIS/Python.

  • Knowledge of the Contact Center domain is preferred.
