Capgemini Business Analyst 2 - IT Technical Business Technical Systems Analyst (BTA) - Chicago, IL in Chicago, Illinois

Seeking a business technical analyst (BTA) responsible for stakeholder and client requirements gathering/clarification, data analysis, and testing throughtout the development and support lifecycle. This individual must be a quick study, self-starter, resourceful, and flexible in working in a dynamic environment. He/she must be able to provide good customer services to our clients to address their needs in a timely manner. Our expectation is that he/she will bridge the gap between what the customer wants and what the technical team needs to develop a solution.

As a BTA, he/she is expected to help develop and enhance the overall capability of the team. Working with cross-functional teams, be able to create, document, and implement best practices to optimize the tools and processes needed to support the RSM services offering.

 Required Skills

  • Good organization skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, sometimes ambiguous environment

  • Experience using SQL in SQL Server and/or Oracle environments, writing SQL queries which aid in analysis

  • Excellent documentation & communication skills

  • Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Visio

  • Ability to analyze data using Excel, MS Access or SQL knowing which tool is best for the presented situation

  • Ability to take lead on various initiatives

  • Ability to take ownership of a project and coordinate independently with development, packaging and testing teams to understand the functionalities and pre-requisities of the software.

  • Ability to work with project teams and field communication team to plan software deployment across 14000 restaurants without coliding with other software deployments.

  • Schedule deployments in a web application and coordinate with application Support team for any issue

  • Take ownership of all requirements and its implementations

  • Should be able to create reports, metrics

  • Design process flows and implement best practices

 Desired/Preferred Skills:

  • Operating System : Windows 2003/2012, Windows XP

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, SCOM

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Sharepoint, ServiceCafe

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Required Skills and Experience:

You are a self-reliant analyst who has mastered at least one methodology. You are developing your knowledge in a business and/or industry domain and an ERP solution or a technical tool / programming language. Possible positions could include being a Business Process Consultant describing processes, Requirements Analyst describing business / functional requirements or Package configuration.

• Qualification: Minimum 3 years experience, Bachelor’s Degree.

• Certification: If possible seeking BA level 1.

• Should have progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Business Change Management, Functional Architecture Design & Project Financials, KPI´s & Reporting

• Should have baseline skills in Software Engineering, Architecture Knowledge & Testing.
