Towards this ambition, we bring in concentrated efforts and investments at the Group level, which includes setting up a central AMS team of Ninjas, led by a Group Offer Leader. This team will be instrumental in increasing our market share and will take charge of 3 main dimensions:
Building the offer foundation both from a Vision, Unique Business Value and Go-To-Market strategy and tooling perspective
Enabling the entire internal value chain with Global Sales and delivery Readiness
Changing the market perception toward our offer, increasing the effectiveness of demand creation and capture
AMS, application managed services, is a critical revenue stream for the Capgemini group. It represents today a significant share of total revenues globally. Capgemini has a global presence and leads this market, as demonstrated again recently by our Leader position in Next-Gen Application Development and Maintenance services by ISG.

The role and responsibilities
Capgemini is recruiting high profile business & technology executives in order to scale its worldwide business on AMS. This role is of high complexity from a technology and business standpoint, covers potentially all sectors and domains of applications and all potential current and future technology stacks.
The candidate will interact on a daily basis with all units (Global Business Lines, Global & local practices, Applied Innovation Exchanges) of the Capgemini Group. While reporting to the AMS Group Offer Leader, Group Portfolio Officer, the candidate must be able to interact with all leadership stakeholders (Chief Sales Officer, Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Technology Officer, etc.). Geographical priorities are Europe and North America but the role covers the entire geographical scope of Capgemini.
The primary role of the candidate will be to be one of the top recognized leaders of the construction and execution of Capgemini’s business on AMS. The candidate should have a “builder” and pragmatic mindset, meaning that we are not looking for strong leaders “only” able to articulate a vision, but also able to drive its execution in a very concrete manner and tangible business outcomes (bookings, contribution margin, revenue, market recognition).
The role demands a high level of autonomy, a strong appetite to drive change and overcome organizational complexity, a high level of “drive” to build a business from the current strong foundations to a potential billion-scale business.
With your team, you will share the following responsibilities:
Building the new foundations of the offer, strengthening our value proposition and articulating our unique business value
Supporting the continuous improvement of the offer
Developing a set of Go To Market Assets
Orchestrating the deployment of the offer in regional Center of Excellence (CoE), responsible for pre-sales and delivery
Ensuring sales and delivery readiness
Creating market demand
Working as deal coaches for the bid teams to secure the win of large or strategic deals.
Handle client interactions with respect to presales scenarios associated with leads and opportunities.
Obviously, you will also have exposure to large scale customer platforms deals / engagements with multinational clients in his market.
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following expertise, supported by a minimum of 5 years of pre-sales and delivery experience:
Application managed service big deal (100M$ ) pre-sales
Application managed service engagement governance
Application managed service Opportunity qualification and estimation, pricing and contract elaboration
Legacy and Modern Application architecture
Application Modernization approaches
Application Performance Management
Business Process Management
Agile principles, deployment at scale frameworks and methodologies
Abreast knowledge of new technology areas like cloud, AI, ML and proven track record of applying them in large deals to cause a differentiation to win.
Business and operating model of at least one industry sector
Offer or product development
The foundational skills that the candidate should be able to demonstrate:
Understanding of market dynamics, the tactics played by various service integrators and both the stated and unstated asks of the customers
Understanding of the entire eco system of advisors, analysts, partners and media, and handle it to elevate our positioning and recognition.
Excellent articulation and extempore presentation skills and exhibit the knack of handling complicated business situations
A self-motivated la niaque personality with the capacity of multi-tasking and ability to accept change.
Ability to work in a complex matrixed organization and to deliver the desired results successfully by collaborating and managing situations with no demarcated authority.
