Job Description:

Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Technician 3 based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: provide specialist expertise in specific technologies both internally and externally in Bid and Project situations; communicate technical issues to clients and colleagues and responsible for technical implementation; plan technical tasks/activities, review progress and make corrective changes; ensure quality of the technical deliverables by reviewing and verifying compliance with key quality standards/ processes; responsible for Technical knowledge management within the projects; monitor technical delivery against targets agreed with the customer (service levels) and ensure minimum penalties for the BU; support Solution Architects in pre-sales work by defining technical solutions, reviewing proposal; and own major incident resolution /RCA for high priority incidents for respective technical projects.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or related field plus at least 3 years of experience in the job offered, or as Software Engineer, Programmer, Application Developer, Systems Analyst, or related IT position. The applicant must also have: any experience with gathering business requirements, technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and implementation of customizations within the software environment; any experience with developing reports, workflows and metrics within the software environment; any experience with specific technologies , including Automation Tools, Storage Architecture, VMware, Networking, or Program Management, to guide others in Project situations; any experience with programming languages, including Perl, Python, or Shell script.
