What You-ll Do

As a UI Test Engineer at Sogeti you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop test plan, test cases and test sizing for varioussprints and releases

  • Review test deliverables - requirements traceability matrix,test scripts, test status reports

  • Drive efficiency through regression of UI interfaces withthe right tools and frameworks

  • Analyze and clearly document programming defects (softwarebugs) that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.

  • Review system documentation, identify test objectives,develop/update test scenarios, and execute functional and regression testscenarios.

  • Interact extensively with various stakeholders (BusinessUsers, PM, BA, AD, UAT) offshore team members for Quality Assurance and Testing


  • Minimum of 6 years hands on software testing experience.

  • Testing Responsive web design in Ecommerce environment ishighly desirable.

  • Familiarity with assistive technologies, such as JAWS, NVDA,etc.

  • Familiarity testing ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)compliance levels adopted for the project.

  • Some experience with the standards for 508 compliance

  • Experience testing Single Page Application (SPA) is highlypreferred.

  • Experience in Agile methodology and JIRA

  • 1 to 2 years of UI testing experience in Ecommerceenvironment

  • Experience with multi-browser testing, Perform browsercompatibility testing.

  • Mobile device and tablet compatibility testing on:one iOSphone, one android phone, and one iOS tablet

  • Familiarity with web development languages including HTML,CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with UI - Angular (preferred) or jQuery orReact, Bootstrap, Responsive web design, AJAX, JSON, Single Page Application(SPA) concepts, Node API Gateway, Adobe Experience Manager(AEM) 6.3

  • Experience in REST API testing, SOAP UI, similar API testingtool is desirable

  • Knowledge of AngularJS or similar JavaScript framework (i.e.Node, React, or Ember)

  • Familiarity working in DevOps model/framework

  • Minimum education qualification

  • A bachelor's degree in anydiscipline. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
