Desired Skills and Experience In Proficy

An architect would need to understand the following:

--Solid experience in the manufacturing software arena, particularly using software that can be described as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and/or Production Management Systems such as from the following vendors:- GE Proficy Suite including- Plant Applications

--Solid experience with integrating manufacturing systems to ERP systems, including SAP

--A thorough understanding of factory control systems architecture

--Deep experience and understanding in the Microsoft SQL Server and .Net development domains

--Ability to communicate and distill complex requirements into workable specifications

--Personality with an ability to work in a multivendor team environment
