Data Architect

Seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join our team in Kansas City. This consultant will be responsible for leading various data projects, designing and building EDW solutions, assisting the sales team with new business development within the Insights &Data practice, mentoring junior I&D consultants, etc.

As a Data Architect with Sogeti, you need the following experience, skills, education, etc:


  • Technical leadership

  • Pre-sales engineering

  • Direct client interaction delivering project-based solutions in the data space

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university required

  • US citizen/permanent resident (Sogeti does not sponsor any work visas)

The ideal candidatewill have:

  • 4+ years of experience in an EDW environment as a data modeler or architect

  • Big data experience a huge plus

  • Experience in data modeling, preferably with ER Studio (conceptual, logical, physical)

  • Experience designing for a variety of database platforms a plus (Oracle, SQL Server, Netezza, Teradata, MS Azure, etc.)

  • Experience writing SQL to profile data

  • Experience creating technical specs and mapping documents for ETL developers and data modelers

  • Experience designing metadata management solutions

  • Experience designing big data, data lake, and advanced analytical solutions a plus

  • Experience designing a canonical model a plus

  • Experience designing ODS a plus

  • Experience analyzing businessintelligence data and providing reports

  • Experience ensuring dataaccuracy

  • Experience assessing dataextraction, generating reports, and bugs appearing in operations involvingthe data warehouse
