Profile requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in software testing/development.

Minimum 3 years working knowledge of automation framework

System Testing Engineer: Software testing with hands on equipment / lab testing and reporting.

Strong Product Testing Skills ( Manual and Automated)

Strong knowledge of Squish from froglogic

Good understanding of selenium web drivers

BDD test framework experience (Cucumber, JBehave, etc)

Mock framework experience (Mockito, Power Mock, etc)

Experience with expressing requirements/tests as gherkin

SCA tool understanding/experience (Sonar, Coverity, etc.)

Security-related scanning experience (tools--Nessus, metasploit,, pen testing)

Understanding of SPR/bug tracking lifecycle

Understanding SDLC quality metrics (code coverage metrics, etc.)

DFR/HALT/HAST performance and reliability testing experience

Experience working in Windows and Unix / Linux ( Ubuntu/REdhat) based platforms

Experience working in a challenging and fast paced environment

Experience working in complex software development projects

Experience in all steps of the software development cycle and knowledge of configuration management tools

Medical Domain Experience a plus

Prior GE Experience a plus

Test Consultants are concerned with the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process. Testing is carried out in each phase: the requirements are tested by an acceptance test, the system design (analysis and design) by a system and integration test, and the programs by a program and module test.

Required Skills and Experience:

You design and develop more complex tests and non-functional tests. You perform many of the roles required of a software testing project, through which you acquire a full testing lifecycle experience. Typically you perform these roles as a senior member in a wider team. You act as a stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a limited number of technology areas. You contribute to bid or client proposals based on your technological expertise. You have delivery ownership and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You also actively participate in at least one community.
