Azure Data Engineer
Job Description
Title – Azure Data Engineer
Job Location – Warren NJ (Hybrid)
Duration – Fulltime
Responsibilities
Assure that data is cleansed mapped transformed and otherwise optimised for storage and use according to business and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain innovative Azure solutions.
Solution design using Microsoft Azure services and other tools.
The ability to automate tasks and deploy production standard code with unit testing continuous integration versioning etc.
Load transformed data into storage and reporting structures in destinations including data warehouse high speed indexes real time reporting systems and analytics applications.
Build data pipelines to collectively bring together data.
Other responsibilities include extracting data troubleshooting and maintaining the data warehouse
Required Skills
Data Bricks Azure Data Factory Logic Apps Azure Functions Python SQL.
Solid understanding of Azure fundamentals and DevOps processes.
Nice to have Data Lake Architecture Synapse Design and develop enhancements using exit point based architecture within loan the origination servicing system Designing and developing enhancements using exit point based architecture within loan origination servicing system Design and implement custom business applications using Oracle Application Development framework.
Produce present and validate AS IS and TO BE landscape models for technical approval showing migration path Produce and validate solution design documentation for projects ensuring a consistent quality approach is maintained.
Input into the Technical Environment Plans TEP for projects.
Work directly with business users in all aspects of design and development.
Produce code that meets quality coding and performance standards according to local IT guidelines and policies including Security auditing and SOX requirements.
Ensure technical supporting documentation is written to company standards Undertake Unit testing making full utilisation of automation tools available and working with the system test team to ensure tests are integrated as part of the overall test plan
