Job Title: Data Scientist (Marketing Analytics)

Job Location: Hybrid (preferred base locations: Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, NYC area, and Seattle)

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-assisted marketing analytics solutions that address customer marketing and business intelligence needs. This role requires a strong background in data science, machine learning, and a keen understanding of marketing strategies, MarTech/AdTech, and marketing measurement methodologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with multi-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with big data to develop data science solutions that enable partners to understand the effects of marketing on business goals, while driving optimization recommendations for existing campaigns.

  • Reporting, analytics, modeling, and measurement of marketing campaigns, monthly and quarterly revenue performance reviews, projections, ad hoc deep-dives, and more. Experience developing marketing mix models, multi-touch attribution solutions, customer segmentation, and leveraging GenAI to enhance marketing strategies and execution are a must.

  • Deliver highly effective solutions, insights and recommendations, and optimization strategies to accelerate ROI growth for clients, while developing custom data science tools to meet their specific needs.

  • Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability for creative thinking, and the ability to synthesize substantial amounts of data in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Communicate results to non-technical/non-analytical stakeholders through cohesive storytelling should be top-notch.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers across both Capgemini and the client’s organization to drive strong marketing performance and to translate data into analytical insights and tools that lead to strategic, actionable recommendations.

Required skills:

  • Data Analysis and Model Development

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights. Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models to enhance marketing analytics solutions.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends.

  • Design and implement models & ML algorithms that optimize marketing campaign strategies, customer targeting, customer experience analytics, performance optimization, and more.

  • Ensure models are scalable, efficient, and deliver high performance.

  • Develop and enhance AI-assisted tools for customer segmentation, predictive analytics, measurement, and personalization.

  • Monitor and evaluate model performance and accuracy. Create reports and dashboards to track key metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.

  • Integrate developed models into existing marketing platforms and tools.

  • Stay ahead of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

  • Experiment with new techniques and methodologies to continuously improve the effectiveness of marketing intelligence solutions.

  • 5 years of data science/analytics experience using Big Data (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.), preferably alongside digital data sources (Facebook, Instagram, DV360, etc.)

  • Advanced SQL, Python, and R programming, working with complex queries, partitions, and CTEs and/or ability to quickly learn new programming languages/frameworks/technologies

  • Experience with SQL platforms/MPP databases, such as Teradata, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and MLOps practices.
