•Wintel server administration experience (especially Win 2k8 and Win 2k12)

•Installation / troubleshooting of Stand-Alone / Clusters servers

•Microsoft Cluster Services (MSCS) and Cluster Administrator

•Install and configure Active Directory for components like AD Classes / Schema, Domain Controller, OU and Group Policy, Setting up privileges and Permission on AD, User and Group administration

•Configuring forward lookup, reverse lookup zone

•Install, Configure DHCP server and File / Print Server

•Install, Configure Antivirus, Patching, Web and Backup functionalities Hardware installation concept of RAID

•Basics of Backups EMC Avamar, Datadomain

•USD tooling and ITIL concepts

•Knowledge in handling file server and print server

•Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, network topology, switch/router configurations, security)

•Antivirus MacAfee/Symentec

•Working experience with vSphere systems administration and support including VMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, VCenter, storage migrations, and P2V migrations

•Troubleshooting ESX host with RCLI.

•In depth understanding of supporting technologies: IIS, WINS/DHCP/DNS, Anti-Virus, Systems Management, Optimization Tuning, High Availability configurations (Microsoft Clustering, etc.).

•Expert in Microsoft Azure cloud, network operations, cloud administration

•Creation and administration of Azure virtual machines

•Excellent English communication capabilities, both written and verbal

•Excellent consultancy skills

•Expert knowledge of AWS, Azure and vClould Air platform features and capabilities

•Understanding of Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models

•Experience with application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools

•Experience with executing quick technical feasibility and proposal development for moving identified workloads to Azure

Day to Day responsibilities:

•Day to day management and support of servers;

•Being part of a team of technical specialists in service delivery and transitional projects;

•Monitoring of the servers, addressing any issues raised and ensuring that contracted services are met;

•Proactive maintenance of the server estate;

•Server Hardware and Windows Server OS break fix using the EARS ticketing system;

•Patching & Anti-Virus updates;

•implementing service improvements;

•Reporting Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly

•Maintain Knowledgebase, Sop`s

Involves researching, developing, innovating and delivering effective and consistent solutions to support the infrastructure systems ensuring the application of current and emerging technologies.

• Qualification: Engineering or equivalent degree

• Should be proficient in Technology Solution Design
