Technical Project Manager

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Chicago, IL, NYC & Atlanta, GA (All locations are open and available)

We’re seeking a Technical Project Manager for the Digital Marketing group in the Financial Services SBU.

The ideal candidate should have a strong experience as a Technical Project Manager, 3+ years of interactive/web projects or someone that currently is an architect and now would like to move to more of a management role.

Prior professional services experience/client facing role required; roles in an advertising/marketing agency or an in-house agency environment are a plus.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with cloud native technologies and/or have experience with migrating from physical infrastructure to cloud.

The ideal candidate should have good understanding for enterprise CMS systems such as Adobe AEM, Sitecore, Magnolia etc. and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical team resourcing / assignments in a deadline driven environment for existing and new content management sites

  • Work with the overall Project Manager and technical leads to estimate project timelines, level of effort and cost

  • Have Business Analyst skills to understand client requirements and convert those into technical requirements for the development group

  • Maintain technical documentation in a timely fashion

  • Work as bridge between Project Managers and technical teams overseeing design, development, and implementation of websites that meet client expectations

  • Ensure quality assurance and acceptance testing process matches functional requirements of website being built

  • Master and maintain knowledge of client's business, and industry trends.

  • Ensure the established secure architecture / coding standards are maintained

Required Skills:

  • Experience managing content management sites built on enterprise CMS systems such as Adobe AEM, Sitecore, Magnolia etc.

  • Experience working with cloud native technologies or migrating from physical to cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS stack

  • 5+ years’ experience as a technical project manager in a fast-paced professional environment

  • BS degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience

  • Experience with MS Visio to create/maintain technical documentation. Experience with tools such as Confluence and JIRA are desirable but not mandatory.

  • Hands on knowledge of development lifecycle and managing of full stack technical teams (server and client side) both on and offshore

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to identify and assess project risk factors

  • Prioritizing activities depending on project/program requirements

  • Solid organizational skills

  • Team player

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
