Job description

Job Title: Snowflake Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Key Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for delivering the code for agreed solution and commissions others to deliver the project.

  • You will normally be a senior member of resource with a relevant area of responsibility that will be affected by the outcome of the project.

  • Technical lead for the project and mentoring the team.

  • Experience in Implementation and leading end to end projects.

  • Involved Building extensive scale high quality implementation.

  • Should be able to document and understand data lineage from Source till Report.

  • Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and should.

  • Provide guidance to teams.

  • Preparing low level design and high-level design documents.

Required Skills

  • Should have 6 to 8 years of experience in Data Management and specialized in Analytical data warehouse.

  • 1-year hands on with Snowflake cloud warehouse.

  • Experience in Snowflake Internal External Staging and Loading options.

  • Deep exposure in Snowflake features.

  • Experience in writing SnowSQL.

  • Experience writing ETL routines for Snowflake in Python or Scala or with ETL tool.

  • AWS or Azure Platform deep knowledge.

  • Experience in Data ingestion to Snowflake from CSV JSON Parquet Avro etc format.

  • Experience in Data Lineage Analysis, Data Profiling Mapping Integration, ETL Validation Cleansing Masking Sub setting, Profiling Archiving, Purging Virtualization, Metadata Management, Performing Unit Test, System integration test Support, UAT.

  • Involve SQL performance tuning, Root causing failures and bifurcating them into different technical issues and resolving them.

  • Experience in evaluation of current source staging and reporting data structures.

  • Experience in Writing advanced SQL and PL SQL programs.

  • Extensive experience in RDBMS like Teradata, Oracle Exadata, MongoDB, SQL Server.

  • Hands on various operating systems such as Windows, UNIX, Red Hat, Linux and Solaris.

  • Hands on with any programming language such as Python, Scala, Pyspark.

  • Experience in UNIX and writing Shell script.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
