Capgemini Hardware Design Engineer in Santa Clara, California

Title: Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: Full Time

Position Description:

About the Role:

· Experience in high-speed hardware designs, testing, validation of Networking products

· Having good knowledge on Hardware Design Life Cycle process starting from requirements gathering till general availability of the products

· Experience in Analog/Mixed circuits, Power circuit designs

· Good problem solving and complex design issue debugging skills

· Hands on experience in using high speed oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyser, Signal Generators, Traffic Generator, SSA, VNA, DC Electronic Loads, Power Supply and Current Probes

· Experience in DDR3 SDRAM, DDR4 SDRAM, Flash (NAND, NOR, QSPI), Ethernet, PCIe, eUSB, Retimer, Clock PLL, PHY, I2C, SPI, UART, LVDS and High-Speed SERDES transceivers

· Experience in DC-to-DC Converters, LDO, PMIC, Flyback and Active Clamp converter circuits, Power sequence design

· Familiar with Signal and Power Integrity simulations, Thermal & Power analysis

· Experience in Board bring-up, functional verification, power qualification, high speed interfaces, thermal and DVT testing

· Having good communication skills and able to work as a team player and collaborate with cross functional teams

· Familiar with tools like Orcad, Allegro, PSpice, Hyperlynx, Sigrity

· Familiar with regulatory compliance certification testing
